Chapter 3 - Glassing the Outside Shoulder Support December 11, 2005 Waiting for the inside layup to cure. Bit of sanding to start and then I'll glass this part.  December 18, 2005 Everything looked good so work continued today. I started by sanding the outside corner to the required radius as well as the mating surfaces and then continued on by creating the 4 1.25 x 1.25 inch squares of 12 layer bid that make up the upper half of the seat belt attach points. Pretty quick really these days. 2 layers of bid over the whole thing with overlap onto the seat and VOILA! Below you can see me putting on the peel ply at the end. In the pic on the right, the little dark squares along the top are the seatbelt attach points.
