Exciting times here in my garage as work is again started up on my Cozy IV airplane build in the garage after a seven month absence. One again the yellow hilighter moves across the pages of my plans indicating the completed lines as another item is completed.
As I get back into the build I have a couple things that I have changed. A better work-life balance that I am trying to make a long-term habit, a better schedule here at home and a new attitude about the build as a whole. (see some of my recent entries here)
You can read all about the build process here or click the link to the right as I document my experiences step by step.
In the last couple days I have completed the landing gear bulkhead reinforcements and will next move back to chapter 8 in the plans and finish up some of the remaining small things so that I can close out all but the headreast in that chapter. I won't do those until I decide what I am going to do with them. I'm not sure that I like the plans design for them and I have been told that I will want to redesign them. I'll take a look as some and ask around when I am at Oshkosh.
