Well after getting the landing gear jigged upside down the other day It just wasn't working out perfectly. I realized that the jig that I'd built with it right side up was misaligned about a 1/4 inch and was going to throw off my alignment and attach points, so I did the right thing and took of the jig, and rebuilt it to perfection. We are now back with the whole bit back upside down and the gear is just about ready for the first set up of gear attach points to be layed-up.
This whole phase is a bit nerveracking because you reaize that what you are doing needs to be right so that your aircraft tracks correctly on the ground when taxiing, departing and landing. On another note: I also added the Oshkosh day 3 pictures here for those who haven't seen them here is the whole set: Oshkosh 2006 - Day 1 Oshkosh 2006 - Day 2 Oshkosh 2006 - Day 3 - RELINK - Enjoy - Happy Turkey Day!!! (sorry for the downtime on the site today as well)
