The plane project trundles forward with a test fitting of the landing gear and alignment measurements before the finaly attach holes are drilled and set forever. So temporarily, the airplane had legs for the first time!!! Soon wheels may appear. Awww My little airplane is growing up. :-)
I did work on the Landing Brake (Air Brake / Drag Flap) as well recently. The Landing Brake is basically a giant drag flap that you lower when you are getting ready to land. This plane really likes to stay airborne and because of that it requires a Landing Brake (Air Brake / Drag Flap) to come down final approach at the requisite angle.
