Nate Wolfe's Cozy IV - A Magic Stick Today while working on the plane project in the garage, I created a "Magic Stick"! Well it isn't exactly magic in the strictest sense, at least as far as I can ascertain, so I suppose it could be magic, but not because I made it magic anyway.... But I call it that because it does magic things!

Yes I know what you are saying... "Nate, that looks like a piece of sandpaper glued to a piece of 1/4" birch! Not any magic stick thing that I've ever seen." And strictly speaking, you'd be right. But it does things. Trust me. And they matter. And they seemed "magic like" at the time.

Anyway.... I posted some progress on the plane today that you can see in the builder section. All that despite the fact that it's bitter cold here right now... Wind chills around 15 degrees below 0. (Fahrenheit) I don't know what that is in metric but I can tell you that the saying from grade school about a witch's "Bosom" doesn't even come close to describing the cold. If you live in Alaska or northern Canada, don't email me and tell me to stop whining.... Cause I'm gonna whine. It's COLD! It was hard to keep the old garage at the required 74 today. (That’s my personal favorite temp when working on the plane.) I had to use the little seen "High" setting on my heater. That boosted things up to around 80 or so. Then I put on a little beach music and pretended that I was working on my Cozy IV in the Florida Keys somewhere. AAAAhhhhhhh!
